SYSTEMS
The Aerated Static Pile system is used for composting a wide range of organics, such as green and food wastes, farm manures, and biosolids. Basic compost windrows are deprived of oxygen within 20 minutes of turning, and aerated piles are usually less than 90 feet long. ASP’s with AirFloor® can be designed for pile lengths up to 160 feet and integrate forced-aeration and leachate collection, for lower operation costs, minimized odor risks, and higher compost quality.

AGITATED BED SYSTEM
In-vessel composting systems with an agitated bed enables a higher level of automation, then is possible with most other methods. The primary composting is done over a 21-day period. The AirFloor in-floor aeration and leachate collection system, together with regular agitation results in more consistent finished compost.
