E-ASP
Extended Aerated Static Pile
E-ASP - Wire Yellow.png

While individual piles with the ASP method hold a single large batch of materials of the same recipe and age—a few days for example—the extended aerated static pile method can be more practical method to composting, especially if raw materials are generated on a daily basis, and frequent turning is not required. The materials are stacked in an overlapping cell forming a wide pile. Capacity of the E-ASP may be 2x that of individual ASP systems.

Each cell, or a group of cells within the E-ASP requires one or more AirFloor® aeration plenums that are separately controlled.
